Hi Everyone,

I am looking for some support in identifying this one I photographed in Qatar. At first I thought it was a Greater Spotted but now I am leaning more towards a Steppe eagle? Anyone...have any thoughts? Thank you.

I think your first thought was correct, it looks like a young Greater Spotted to me with all those upperparts white flecks and spots.

Steppe has bold barring to primaries. This delicate, fine and partially faded barring is typical of GSE.
Note also roundish nostril, typical of genus Clanga.
