Buzzard, Horton Plains, Sri Lanka (1 Viewer)

In my experience it is only pale yellow to grey , but here it is bright yellow and also the gape is yellow. I haven´t seen that in Brahminy kite yet

- but maybe some more experienced birder in that region has?

I agree with your points, additional to this is that it's a long way from water, Brahminy Kites are usually, though not exclusively, near water but what else can it be?
