Beetle for ID, Hants,03.05.22 (2 Viewers)

Any ID pointers on this beetle gratefully received. I thought it must be in the Chrysomelidae but after that ground to a halt.

Maybe Agelastica alni? Normally it looks a more shiny blue but depending on the light it can sometimes look quite dark

I should have got this one - it is the most common beetle species (over the last month) -1000s - in the old gravel pit which I visit most days and yet when I saw a single one on a dull day when I visited a pond a few hundred metres from home I failed to ID it
