I’m certain yesterday I heard Pink Footed Geese calling in the distance whilst I was hanging out the washing, I didn’t see them but made me think autumn is definitely not far away.
There have been reports of Pink-footed Geese in Highland for 3 or 4 days now, and when reviewing my garden trailcam this morning, I heard a flock going overhead, I'm in Aviemore. Also reports of a couple of Redwing in the Highlands as well.
Had Bee-eaters over the house every day for a week here but haven't seen a single one, they must be way up high. Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Red-backed Shrike here yesterday but fairly quiet otherwise.
