I know this is an ancient thread but a wetland area the size of Alvecote must have a good number a regular birders. A garganey was reported yesterday any news. Will be driving past from south birmingham any info gratefully recieved

One birder does it daily but others 2-3 times a week icluding myself. yes we had the Gargany 3-45ish yesterday it seems it stayed till late on but was gone by early afternoon today.

Today we had a Red Kite flyover and oystercatcher and common sand reported today.

Today Alvecote... 1x Sanderling 2x Dunlin all on the spit of the Mill pool.. Roy Smith.
Still present at 4.30pm.

grey Plover.... Mill pool spit. 7.05am for about 15mins. Also common sandpiper.
