A weeks 'non-birding' holiday produced some nice birds. It was good to be back in the Algarve.
Based at Olhos de Agua, a combination of early morning visits and a few brief stop overs en-route during the day managed to help build a reasonable trip list. Not sure of the status of Ruddy Shelduck in Portugal, guessing the same as in the UK, ie not very good! The golf course pool (near Falesia Lagoon) at Vilamoura was surprisingly productive early morning - as in past visits, always worth a look. Have yet to trace the ringed Auduoin's Gull at Tavira.
