I’m new here and this question has probably been asked many times before. I had a nest in a flower planter and noticed today something had happened and three of the four birds were on the ground and unfortunately dead. One was left in the planter and looked good but haven’t seen the parents. Is there anything I should be doing or can do? Thanks

Not really sure what you should do. Do you suppose you could get some mealworms and place them in the planter? If not, then I would suggest that you call a local rehabber to see if you can bring the fledgling in to them.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum (y)
We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

It's probably to late in the day to reach a vet but if you call a couple in the morning, you could ask them if they know a rehabber they can refer you to.
