    Chickadee with leg mites nesting in yard

    Hi! I noticed a Carolina chickadee (one of a breeding pair building a nest in my yard) has leg mites. Is there any natural treatment I can use on the nest to kill the mites before they spread to the baby birds, or to help the parent bird?

    I've not been posting much, as amongst other things, I had a pair of Rats to discourage from the garden... I didn't want to kill them, so it's taken longer than it should, but (fingers crossed - touch wood) I've not seen them for weeks now. The 11 Feral Cats had one of them, and all of the Mice...
