North Norfolk 17 - 20 July 2010

We just got back from four glorious days in North Norfolk.
Fab weather, although we found it quite from a birding point of view, we did manage the buff breasted sandpiper at Titchwell on Saturday and a Curlew Sand + 5 spoonbill at Cley on Sunday (18/07/10).
Main reason for posting is to remind anyone planning to visit on holiday, that the main beach path at Titchwell (reserve remains open but with restricted access)is closed from this weekend for a month and that there is now a parking charge up at Holkam Hall grounds of £2.50/day.
I may add more if I get time.

Great pics - really like the Sedge Warbler with Gatekeeper butterfly. That Meadow Pipit on the Arnold's Marsh sign seems to be a regular - it was on that sign when I was there back in June!

Thanks for the kind comments Paul, you're right about that pipit. must be its regular perch.
Large numbers of swift were passing though over the weekend.
Barn Owls proved scarce compared to other visits.
Despite the time of year we still managed about 80 species without trying to hard.
