Hi Birdforum;

I am forwarding information regarding a historical birding blog written by expat British birder Peter Browne. He has always been a meticulous note-taker since he began birding during and after WWII, and he has been placing his original diary and notes on-line, in the form of an historical blog.

UFOs over Yemen: Birding in the Middle East in the 1940s

For the detailed historical blog, including all the details regarding his sightings, click here.

If you prefer the less detailed version, which is in chronological order, click here.

He is looking forward to any feedback. He may be contacted directly here.

Enjoy this fascinating trip down the birding memory lane. And don't forget, this is a work in progress, with new entries being posted regularly.

Respectfully submitted,

Blake Maybank
