    Which monocular as a substitute for binoculars...?

    I picked up a celestron hummingbird ED last year and have been quite impressed with the. Very wide view with a 12.5mm Baader Morpheus eyepiece. 16x but cradling it close to your eye can give quite steady views. With the longer focal length eyepiece you could get lower power views. Pocketable. Peter
