    Of course not acceptable, especially if not near the end or after the warranty period. I have accepted my ancient canon IS melting is “just life”. I can’t believe this sort of thing wouldn’t have come up in testing and development of a new coating…. Gonna get costly for them! Peter

    Duct tape…. Cheap thin neoprene sheet and double sided tape… good enough for my “big Mak”, no deet or swear going to harm it and costs nothing to recoat. Peter

    One wonders if Swarovski have factored in the cost of replacing my all the failing armour and the emissions from all the shipping required, not to mention the damage to reputation and their bottom line. Unless the old stuff of literally leaching toxins into everything it touches it might have...
