    Zoom H1e

    I'm quite amazed with the results I got here... A sample of the Original file which was dominated by gusty wind (last 13 seconds). In Audacity, I reduced the noise, added some high pass filter, and amplified the calls. Is there anything else I can do to improve my results? Final result here:

    Zoom H1e

    Zoom H1e are now in stock at several online retailers, so I purchased one this week. I don't have a great deal of experience of higherquality sound recording, so don't really have much to contribute on that score, but I have a few initial findings from a birding perspective... It's very small...
