    I don't tolerate short eye cups that don't cover the eye relief. I am not floating binocular's over my eye socket's. I use Nikon EDG's and they are perfect for me just like your Conquest's. It is not just the length of the eye cups that must match the eye relief it is the diameter of the eye...
