    Might be worth doing the walk from Denhall Lane, Burton Marsh, to Burton Point. Nice walk and a good spot for Whinchats, although certainly not guaranteed, reasonable chance of seeing at least one Marsh Harrier as well.

    20% to 30% juvenile Sandwich Terns in the flocks second half of July off West Kirby, Red Rocks and Hilbre so don't seem to have done that badly. Good to see the Common Terns doing well, they've had a bad time since they deserted Shotton due to overcrowding at Seaforth. Little Terns at Gronant...
