    2 great northern divers yesterday was my bird of the day it was a first time seeing them for me so being able to stand at the railings of jacksons landing the marina hartlepool and have them fish / dive and pop up about 6 yards away was great - a real treat when birds are so close you dont even...

    what was your bird of the day ?

    a common bird to the more experienced im sure but my bird of the day was a male eider i have seen them before on the sea but got a close look today and there very nice birds to watch with some great colours.
