    Hmmmmm......FWIW, I would say the SF are "cooler" and my Nikons "warmer". The word "green" wouldn't come into play. Bird colors are amazingly vivid and clear in the SF's. Remember the SFL's are super nice glass but they do have some more false color toward the edges than the SF's. That's...

    Sunlight is usually considered to be ~4800K, so 5000K is "neutral" for outdoor light w/ the sun at zenith on a clear day. 5000K is considered bluish for indoor lighting, which is typically 2700K or 3000K. Studies are showing that bluer light in the evening hours is not healthy. Most people...

    I can see a slight difference in the color cast of my recent 8x42 SF's and Swaro 10x56 SLC, the Swaro's are slightly "warmer" but it's inconsequential to me. I would say the SF's have the best contrast of any of the binoculars I've used, that's what jumps out at me, not the colors. I don't...
