    Can anyone tell me what this bird is!?

    Ok, nevermind! I seemed to have solved my own question only seconds after posting initially! Adult Green Heron. The book I have sometimes has strange pictures of the birds that distort the neck and body size. Thanks anyways.

    Can anyone tell me what this bird is!?

    I shot this picture today from a good distance, and have been unable to figure out what kind of bird it is. Can any of you help me out? The shot was take in Eastern TN, Knoxville area off of a small little stream fed inlet off of a larger lake (aka river). Thanks!
