    Took some finding given the weather conditions and disturbance, got good views in the end though. Marazion has somewhat redeemed itself after the RR Swallow last week!

    Red-rumped Swallow briefly this evening at Marazion Marsh. My mate found it, but I just couldn't get on it. Gutted as it would have been a UK lifer! :-C

    Great pics Ash! To add to Ilya's blog- Don't rely wholly on Collins for an id, the plates aren't too accurate. Luckily this bird is quite distinctive when seen next to collybita and the call is very different!

    not much to be seen on College today apart from common stuff. No sign of the Egyptian Goose. Large numbers of wigeon, pochard and bullfinch though

    2 black throated divers off Gylingvase beach this afternoon in a big raft of shag and cormorants. 1 fulmar also water rail and chiffchaff both showing well in the rain at Swanpool

    ~20 balearic shearwater 2 manx shearwater 5 grey phalarope 4 great skua 2 puffin ~5 little auk 1 common tern 1 leach's storm petrel tons of guillemot, kittiwake, razorbill, fulmar, gannet etc all at Pendeen this morning, not a bad haul, plus grey phal and balearic were lifers :D
