    Managed a hour at Shoestoke before work this morning. Adult kittiwake still mainly at west end but did give me a stunning feeding display just metres in front of the car park. amazing view's. Also a redshank briefly dropped in. A lonesome female goosander - did think they were very gregarious...

    2 male ruddy ducks on broomycroft pool KWP, this morning. Long time since i have seen one of theese birds. I had thought they might have been shot to extinction in theese parts.
