    I'm pretty confident on the ID, just wanted to see whether you got any photo's where the wings weren't obstructing the flanks. The patterning on the undertail as well seems to be better for a chilean mockingbird- 1800 Great pictures btw.

    Slightly difficult due to how its wings are positioned but I believe that your bird is a Chilean Mockingbird, any more photos? The distinctive malar stripe, tail appears quite long (in comparison to the Patagonian mockingbird) and the greater coverts, secondaries and primaries are not dark as...
