    Thank you, that all seems good advice, I've been lucky enough to have tried for a day two pairs of mid range binoculars and one Zeiss pair of Victorys. I didn't find the more expensive pair that much better to be honest, as you said, a lot more money for very little improvement. Regards Alex.
