    Eyeglasses - a few unqualified remarks

    I'm short sighted with astigmatism and wear varifocals. The most important caveat for me, when choosing a frame, is to ensure the nose pads are part of the moulded frame. Separate nose pads, either attached directly on to the frame, or (far worse) are attached to wires soldered on to the frame...
