    I agree 100%! I think all these top of the line binoculars have awesome optics so that’s the least thing I worry about. For me it comes down to ease of view, feel in hand, vivid colors-contrast, mostly ease of view.

    Regarding diopter settings, hardly anyone has both eyes exactly the same. I get my eyes checked once a year, I’m far sighted and used to be a +1.75 left +2.25 right, over the years they’ve grown closer and closer so that now they’re both about 2.00.     Ten years ago a forum member named Frank sent me his 7x42 Ultravid for me to compare next to my 8x42 Ultravid BR. If I tried them side by side I could barely make out the difference in magnification, but otherwise the view was identical. So little difference I certainly couldn’t justify owning...
