    High stability tripod options

    I think another solution would be to hang the weight from the tripod legs rather than the center column because: a) it will make the whole tripod less prone to vibrations b) you can still use the center column. I use this method with my Berlebach UNI tripod (which alone weighs about 8kg) and...
