    Safely on Newton Lane then walk with great care to the viewing point on the A5. You might like to check that your life insurance is up to date prior to undertaking this venture ;)

    Had a look this morning! Usual common suspects but at least two Yellow Legged. A lot of disturbance on the A5 pool. I'm now a jibbering wreck, having negotiated the A5! Report on my blog.

    Hi Neil, just wondering if you mean Newbold Rd? The only road I know is Newton Lane, first on the right past the Gibbet Island (Texaco Garage). May have a look today and yes the road is very tricky!

    Despite only being "up the road", this is a site I rarely visit. Must put this right! Previously, I have only viewed the balancing lakes from the road to Shawell, and the other lakes from the A5 by the Newton turn. Is the tip accessible as it has always been working on my few visits?
