    Saw a Marsh Tit in the garden today, first for at least ten years. A juvenile Brambling was also the first for this Winter period. Roger

    Very busy at the bird feeder today!

    My garden flock of Bramblings has now built up to 18 birds today although I have a long way to go to beat my record of 65 on 12 March 1998. Putting seed on the grass seems to attract Bramblings but no doubt some rather odd looking plants will be seen in a few months time. Roger
