    Indeed, just forgot to list them! I wonder what the list of finches in UK gardens is? I saw some photos of linnet on nyger seed recently. Then there's redpoll. And of course reed bunting. Yellowhammer too. Plus rarities? I know of people down here who's gardens are visited by cirl bunting. But...

    Perhaps its the make of feeder basket that's attracting the brambling! Before this winter we'd only seen them once in the garden, a couple of winters back. And yes, brambling and bullfinch are particularly argumentative.

    Hi All, thanks for the nice comments. The camera I use is a Canon HG-10, great little camera bought second hand off a well know online auction site. I posted a very short film of our regular goldcrest too, but he is SO difficult to film as he's always flitting about and never still for long...
