    Finding the Birds

    Does the time of the day make a difference, when it comes to looking out 4 different types of birds? I tend to find that I have much joy at certain times of the day than others. Is this just pure coincidence or is it based on science? I would reallly like to know.

    What are the best conditions for birding?

    I sometimes face the same problem spotting birds in that sometimes it looks as if the birds are hiding form me! I sometimes cant help taking it personal especially when one is all geared up for a good bird "watch". What I would like to know, is how do birds rest or sleep say when in midflight...

    Birding on the move or stationary?

    I tend to walk around and it works for me, but then having said that by nature I find it hard staying in one place for to long! With time u will work out what suits u best. Good luck & all the best

    Venezuelan government takeover of Hato Pinero

    The plans the government of Venezuela under the ladership of Chavez have for Hato Pinero, is a disgrace! My heart bleeds for the Hato Pinero, such a beautiful place when I visited all those years ago. Something must be done, we should not allow this to happen. :-(
