Any comments on the age of this bird would be appreciated. My first booted. Two weeks ago.

    Lincolnshire geese and duck

Geese look to have pale head and neck, which suggests Grey Lag. Lack of light on underwing may, however be exaggerating this.

Mariefred, Sweden - Willow or Marsh Tit

Hmm! No obvious wing panel or white spot to gape. Neat bib, but not a clear side on view to see if it is bull-necked or rounder headed. Looks nearer to Marsh, but look forward to wiser answers than mine.

    diver, Shetland

Lower mandible clearly shows slightly upturned boat shape when seen this close.

    Buzzard: New Forest, UK

What the video also shows is a fast and stiff wing beat, not the slower and deeper wing action of a Honey in active flight imo. The flight action tips it to Common for me. Colouration and pattern a problem, because taken from under trees into light, so overcooked. Observation of deeper beat -...

    Buzzard: New Forest, UK

Cannot see enough of head. Was it barred underneath at all?

    Bird ID - Cotswolds, Oxford

My instant response was Cuckoo, but I agree it could be a Mistle. How did it's flight look? Straight, undulating, fast, slow, wavering?

    Buzzard: New Forest, UK

Looks long-winged, which favours Honey, but cannot pick up plumage detail.

    Kestrel ?

Kestrel is the only small raptor in the UK that hovers for any length of time. Buzzards occasionally hover, but they are huge in comparison. The dark primary feathers of a Kestrel are very distinct. and a good ID guide in straight flight.

    Spotted flycatcher, UK

Did you see them sitting in the tree? Spotties sit very upright, warblers tend to be more horizontal.

    Northumbrian Birding

I also had good, close views of the Pacific Diver. Looking at the various ID comments on the web, it seems as though the lack of white on the rear of the flanks, the size and the smaller pale patch below the eye are diagnostic. As for the vent stripe, which I did not see, there is a photo of a...

    Gyr Falcon, Lynemouth, Northumberland

The right foot is holding a clod of mud or dung. Have another shot that shows two clean feet - huge feet with long claws.
