    Is the price of a 7d really justified when compared to a 550d/T2i?

    Good call Peter! I've just picked up a 400D as a down grade from the 50D for my macro work and couldn't be happier. The smaller size suits and the mp, FPS, AF etc. aren't an issue. For £150 I'm well happy. Saves the 50D's shutter for other things;)

    Don't dismiss the 100mm 2.8 non IS. It's an excellent lens. Macro is a different world where AF is IMHO next to useless. If you use flash I can't see the IS adding much either as the flash duration freezes most movement. The older 100mm 2.8 is as sharp as a sharp thing! I am currently using the...
