    I spotted this beautiful Greenfinch whilst out birding on my local patch. It is such a shame that the numbers of these once common birds have plummeted in recent years.

    Spotted this Sparrowhawk in a tree in a neighbours garden. From this vantage point the bird has a very good view of my bird feeding station. It has already taken a Great Tit off the feeder in one occasion. However that is nature I guess.

    Thanks Benji. I read a report on Staffordshire Bird News that they had been seen in this car park. So early the next day I drove there hoping they were still around. As you can see from my photo they were still there. There was a small flock of 8 Waxwing in total
