    Winter/Summer Feed

    Small feeder in CO that attracts Chickadees, Finch, Nuthatch, Bluebird, Sparrow and other smallish house birds with shelled sunflower seeds and "patio blend" during the summer. It's a busy feeder. Should I change seeds/feed for the upcoming winter? I might add a suet feeder?

    Bird ID Help - Robin?

    We are in the Denver area and seen this bird several times. Mainly on the ground, looks like a robin(?) but with a white breast, maybe irregular growth on crown(?)

    Identifying Labels on Binos

    I know many of you buy/sell/trade binos regularly and marking would be inappropriate. I also know that if binos are lost/misplaced/stolen the chance of seeing them again is almost nil. Other than a luggage tag on a case or strap, does anyone mark, label or engrave for identification purposes...

    Cooper's Hawks Nesting

    Well now that I've acquired some binoculars for me and wife, we spotted a pair of Cooper's Hawks nesting in a tree near the house in Englewood, CO. New to birding. These are really beautiful birds and calling to each other. Haven't seen any young ones yet? Maybe soon.

    Alaska Birding and Equipment Suggestions

    I'm heading to Alaska on a smaller cruise ship this summer. There are great things to see including glaciers, flora, fauna and I'm told 246 bird species. What would be the best and practical optics? I have 8x32 binocs, and 65mm spotting scope. Is the spotter too much to deal with or useful?
