Baby bird ruptured air sac
Birds have a totally different respiratory layout and system than other animals. A punctured air sac is a punctured breathing system. A chick with a punctured sac has a very slim chance of survival. Check the YouTube link Per- Dyrlege

Swarovski ATC: which lightweight tripod?
I kept the half-shell on when attaching the Arca plate (or Sirui/Arca compatible), I see quite a few have omitted it for tripod use. Could the half-shell be the reason I don't have a "rotational" problem? Just a thought. Oh, and I usually put it outside the window when seriously watching! They... -

Little bittern. The photo is of its reflection in the water (so rotated 180), the bird itself was mostly hidden by the reeds.It caught a fish just after the photo was taken!- Dyrlege

Curio 7x21 vs. CL 8x25 pocket
I'm keeping my curio for much the same reasons: it is truly pocketable, excellent optics and really useful. It does not replace a good scope or larger bins, but it certainly complements them, and certainly gets more use! Per -

A CL 8*25 "accidentally" ended up with me, I already had the curio. I've tried them both together, and will stick with the curio: wonderful optics and perfect pocket fit. The 8*25 gets left behind too often, it does not add enough to viewing compared to the 7*21. My opinion. -

The adapter is seen nested in the line to the sling. The burnt orange colour led to a delay, rumour has it that Swaro mixed the first batch incorrectly and had to redo the colour mix. I needed it to match my Curios 😂🤣
