    Hi Meih! And thanks for your great report on birds spotted. I’m new at this and would love to know how you identified so many! My house surrounded by lush foliage so it’s not easy to actually see the many birds we have here (north coast) and would love to learn how to identify by call. Any tips...

    Hispaniola birds are amazing!

    ....But I have no clue how to identify them - and really want to. im a Canadian “stuck” in the Dominican Republic for the last year+ and am awestruck by the songs of the birds that surround my house. They’re difficult to spot, as they’re hidden by the lush foliage, but I can hear them clearly...
