    South of France

Col de la Cayolle in the French Alps is very reliable for Citril Finch, Mark, but it's a good two and a half hours' drive from Nice. Worth a day trip though. Lots of other interest - both choughs, Golden Eagle, Griffon Vulture and a chance of Bearded Vulture.

Which ecozone is the Limithang road in Bhutan in?

Really? I would have thought it is amongst the Eastern Himalayan Broadleaf & Conifer Forests: http://wwf.panda.org/about_our_earth/ecoregions/easthimalayan_broadleaf_conifer_forests.cfm They are within the Indomalaya ecozone.

Apparently Karel Voous (1973–77) established the southern border of the Palearctic in the western and central Sahara at 21°N, and to the southern Egyptian border in the east, though with southern extensions to 20°N along the Atlantic coastline and at 18°E to include the Banc d’Arguin...

Advice please... We're looking to spend a week in the Everglades next March (1st-8th) and was wondering if there was enough to hold us there at a relaxed pace for a whole week, especially if we included Big Cypress and Fakahatchee Strand too? Most importantly, we were wondering if the trails...

    Greater or Lesser Sand Plover?

I would say the last photo is a Greater, numbers 1 & 4 are a Lesser and 2 & 3 are a Kentish Plover. A distinctive Charadrius plover known as the White-faced Plover has been seen in Thailand in recent years. It is at present unclear whether it is a new species or a subspecies of Kentish Plover
