    I just hope they're more rampant than we ever thought and that, in a few years, it won't be such a big deal. There's gotta be a quasi-viable population of them out there IMO. Don't forget that male had a mother and father recently.

    Well, it's not Grapefruit-Yellow, but I guess it could pass for Night-Yellow. Just kidding, I'm not at all confident with my ID... Don't have my book here at work... Will have to check when I get home... Just learning that, in photos, shadows can be deceiving.

    If his legs were yellow, I'd go with Greater Yellowlegs... That's a long, mostly straight, bill. Could be wrong.

    Flying overhead in V, big group of white birds with black wingtips... Sounded like Canada Geese. In Quebec, Canada... Seemed like were flying Southish? Sure was Canada Geese by sound, except whiteness???

    Perhaps the bird responsible for defecating on the neighbor's oriental rug could be barred from the neighborhood. This might be a satisfactory resolution.

    When are Owls (Eastern Screech Owls) vocal?

    I've searched for this information using a variety of resources, but have not found the answer... Last year, I could go into a local park sometime during the spring/summer and almost always hear the territorial call of the ESO, then see him. This year, I'd looked forward to finding him again...
