    rare bird in southern maine?? any guesses

    I live in southern maine USA and a friend of mine took a picture of this bird, and sent it to me (she also lives in southern maine). I have never seen this bird before and I did not see it in the north american field guide.

    zenray promaster hawke vs nikon premiers?

    how do these chinese binocs compare to the nikon premiers, I want to buy an 8x42 binoc, I was thinking about buying a nikon premier lx, but is the image better then the zens,hawkes or promasters?
