From Opus

Genus: Schoutedenapus

[edit] Description

Two species of African Swifts represent this genus. Both are small with long and deeply forked tails, resembling the Asian Aerodramus Swiftlets. The affinities of this genus are uncertain and both birds have been placed into the genus Apus. Schouteden's Swift is only known by five collected specimens and nothing is known about its habitat and behaviour. The range of Scarce Swift may be bigger than indicated.
