[edit] Overview

About 100km from the better-known Arjeplog, this area has similar habitats of forest, lakes and bogs but has a wider range of birds.

The area is based around a delta formed by the meeting of the Vindelalven and Tjulan rivers and forms part of the large Vindelfjallens Nature Reserve.
