    Gull - Lake Geneva, Switzerland

Hello, One month ago, I saw this gull in Lake Geneva, Switzerland. It was a second winter gull, as the tip of the tail was still very black. In this area, the most common species is the YLG. When I saw this one, it immediately looked different to neighboring YLG and for me, looked like a big...

    Gulls in Switzerland (again)

Hello, I observed again gulls in Switzerland this week. I found some interesting individuals. First, two candidates for first winter LBBG: With my current knownledge, I would argue that the first one is in fact a YLG, due to the beak shape, the head shape, and the advanced molt in the...

    Empidonax - Oaxaca, Mexico

Hello, It was in a shrub area, with only few trees, very close to a beach. The bird was close to 2 white-lored gnatcatchers and 1 blue-grey gnatcatcher.

    Empidonax - Oaxaca, Mexico

Hello, I saw an empidonax flycatcher near Puerto Escondido, along the Pacific coast of Oaxaca, Mexico. I couldn't note any visual characteristics which could help to identify the bird specifically, but I recorded its call. I also put the sonogram.
