How long should the casual bin user (<100 hrs/yr)consider upgrading, so as not to be caught up in the technology whirlwind.

comparing the new Yosemites to the old Yosemite??

"O" rings also work well on bins that don't have click stops for the diopter adjustment, to hold them in one place.

Found Old Bins - Bushnell 7x35 Custom

I also have the 7x35 Customs. Mine is the "BOL" version without the locking diopter. An easy fix for this is to get an "O" ring of the proper diameter, to fit over the ocular ring. This creates enough friction to prevent the unit from moving.

    Depth of Focus

Have there been any comparisons made say between the Leupold Cascade (8x42) Porro and the other 6X+ bins like the Yosemite, Raven, and Raptor?

    Biggest reverse porro?

Renze, a piece of rubber plumbing pipe connector of the correct diameter also works. 1&1/2" works on the Leupold Yosemites for example.

    Suggestions on Binoculars

Lost, The only compact I can tolerate is the Bushnell Custom 7x26. Not a "pocket" model, but superb optics. You won't be disappointed.
