    Connahs Quay Three Great Egrets, Med gull and Common Redstart best of todays birds on DNS reserve.

    Shotton Steelworks We saw the White winged Black tern at 12.00 hrs yesterday, hawking over the Ash pool at DNS. It stayed for 15 mins and then flew towards the Steel works. We were able to relocate it at the Tern colony at 13.30 hrs flying over the rafts pursued by Common Terns.

    Cheshire And Wirral Birding: Hills, Lowland and Coast

    The Blue Morph Snowgoose Was at Connahs Quay nature reserve, with Canada geese, on Sunday. I was able to film it, while it was on the island, located on the Ash pool. Interestingly it is NOT ringed.

    Visited Inner marsh Farm , Burton Point and Burton Mere today: There must have been a fall of Goldcrests last night as we saw them at all three sights with the largest number at Burton point. We saw 12 in the gorse along the road at Burton point and there were certainly more we could hear but...
