    Australian Checklist

Hi Mal, that's great, I love a good list! I'm going to Europe later this year so I'll definitely print off one or two of them. Have a look at this link, it could be helpful in double checking your list. http://www.birdsaustralia.com.au/birds/checklist.html Regards, Jordan

    Great day at man-made wetlands

It's nice that the rest of them get something out of it, my Mum is keen, my Dad, Sister and girlfriend humour us, they just enjoy being outdoors. Thanks for the reply, I'll see what I can do re the pics.

    Great day at man-made wetlands

I had a great morning with my family out at some man made wetlands in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. The wetlands were built to help treat waste water from the town. Bins and rough travel

Hi all, I recently bought a pair of cheap (talking AUD $25) compact binoculars to leave in my work car in case any birds of interest cross my path while I’m out and about. I do a lot of driving on poor roads, really bumpy and corrugated, and I think this may have knocked the optics out of place...

what was your bird of the day ?

I spotted a White-winged Fairy-Wren while driving around the scrub in south west NSW. They're a brilliant cobalt blue, fantastic! Not rare, but my first.

    ID Please South Australia

Hi Matmob, It could also be a Yellow-plumed Honeyeater. The yellow on its neck, and the side of its wings to its tail make me think this. But not 100%, its a tricky one! Good luck, Jordan

    Hi there

G'day everyone, I'm Jordan, I live in Mildura, Victoria, Australia. I've only quite recently taken a specific interest in bird watching, I'm loving it, much to the amusement of my family, and I'm looking forward to learning more.
