    Coney Meadow and Adjoining Areas

Hi everyone, new to this area and I walk down to the screen at the reedbed and most of the time see nothing but pigeons! Am I missing some little spots to see some stuff or is it just a patience issue?

    Little Packington

Grey wagtail, kingfisher, kestrel, Great spotted woodpecker, little egret of note at the Ford. Took a walk upto Hawkeswell farm under the motorway and saw, Linnet, bullfinch and chiffchaff with great views of all from the path. On the whole a great day. Can't remember so much activity in the area.

OK, not really ventured over to that part of brum before. Where would be the best place for me to hang about to see the kingfishers? Also is it a nice walk? I'm all about the walking too:-)
