Chinese clone 8-24mm zoom compared to Vixen/TV zoom

Thanks for the continued updates and information regarding different eyepieces as used on the Pentax 65ED. I am interested in this scope, as well as the many eyepiece choices it offers. I am very interested in seeing how this scope does for digiscoping. Do you (or anyone else) know of any...

Outstanding shot! I have not seen many digiscoped shots of flying birds. Will you share your secrets? Is there a special tripod/mount involved?

I think I can see your reflection in the owl's right eye. Is that you, standing, or am I making things up? (I recently saw a satellite dish as a very skinny owl perched on a roof, so my observational skills are suspect.)

    PF-65 ED well Received

Thanks for the advice, guys. I need all the help I can get on this matter. Do you guys have any digiscoping experience with a Pentax scope? By the the Bill, you say you used to own a Pentax: What'd you trade it in for? Did you move past "the knee" a bit?

    Bum's Rush?

Thanks for the prompt help, folks. "Cookies" used to mean something completely different to me, and I must say, I prefer chocolate chip. I'll try to get with the times.

    Bum's Rush?

I've been a member for a while, but now I keep getting prompted to enter my user name and password--over and over again. Every time I try to do something new I have to log in. I can't get access to the gallery. Help! What am I doing wrong? Hello? CliffMartin

    PF-65 ED well Received

Is this the light at the end of the tunnel? I've been looking for a scope for so long now. I want something really good. Is the Pentax 65ED what I've been waiting for, or would I be better off going scopeless while save money for the Swarovski, Kowa, Zeiss or Leica? I digiscope with a...

I love those cavity nesting ducks. Do they nest in your area?

    Shrike

I believe that this is a Northern Shrike, but I'm not sure, maybe Loggerhead is a better guess. I know that this isn't a great shot, but it was so exciting for me to see this bird. I was lucky enough to witness it spit out a pellet. I would be interested to see what this one was eating at...

    Male Hooded Merganser

I was very excited to see Hooded Mergansers here in Ft. Collins, CO. There were at least 4 juvy(and/or females) and 1 mature male. The photo is mediocre, but the experience was beautiful!

    Tomato Jumper

This little guy was stalking bees from its vantage point on a cherry tomato. I found it on the same tomato a couple of evenings in a row.

    Mmmm....Bee.

The netting draped over a trellis at the greenhouse where I worked was trapping flying insects. This big Jumper took advantage of this and caught a bee.
