Red Admiral feeding on the rotting fruit of a fig. (Vanessa atalanta)

This Red Admiral was my first of the year in my garden and by Leaveing these figs to rot on the tree the blackbirds, wasps Unfortuneately which will always be drawn to rotting fruit, And perhaps the chance of a Butterflie or more as this Red Admiral was.
