Kitty the female is the same size but has the usual sickle-blade of an ovipositer sticking out behind so she looks quite formidable but they are very gentle creatures. Lee

Thanks Stanley. I think Great Green Bush Cricket is larger but this species has a restricted distribution and we have been looking for it for many years and there it was, walking across the track in front of us, not even hiding in a bush! Lee
