Orange-spotted Emerald Dragonfly (Oxygastra curtisii)

This river dragonfly was lost to the uk in 1957 due to a pollution incident at its only known site. It is hoped that with the northwards spread of some continental-European species that one day this attractive species may set-up home in the UK once more.
