Monk Parakeet (Myiopsitta monachus)

I finally saw these at a local nesting colony nearby in Central New Jersey. This was my third attempt looking for them and I was greeted by 6 around the nest. They sure are interesting and seemingly intelligent birds , not to mention beautiful ! I observed them for a while and a few were working on the nest and fetching materials.
Habitat
Urban , nest attached to a house
Location
central New Jersey , USA
Date taken
Nov 2008
Scientific name
Myiopsitta monachus
Equipment used
Kodak Easyshare
Nice shot of the happy couple, I like the fantail pose of the bird left.
Well done:t:
